Job Duties
The Information Technology Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role involves providing technical assistance to end users and working closely with our third-party IT service provider to manage and troubleshoot network systems.
Technical Skills
Three (3) years of experience in network support or technical support roles preferred. • Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred. • Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, organization, and communication. • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and common network tools.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and peripheral devices, including printers, routers, and switches. • Provide timely technical support to end users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues. • Conduct routine diagnostics and system checks to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime. • Manage email and intranet systems, including the creation and removal of user accounts. • Assist with network upgrades and recommend improvements to enhance system performance. • Collaborate with internal staff and external IT partners to address system needs and resolve issues. • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Must be able to remain seated and work at a computer workstation for extended periods. • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. • Willingness to work extended hours or be available on-call in the event of network issues or emergencies. • Flexibility to travel, as required, to provide support across multiple bases.
